Job summary

Elsa Talent seeks a Senior Project Document Controller for an oil & gas EPC project based in Singapore. The role requires frequent shipyard attendance and strong expertise in MDR, registers, and EDMS.

You will manage and control all project documentation from engineering through final handover, coordinating with engineers, procurement, shipyards and vendors to ensure timely, accurate submissions and robust status reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of document control experience in EPC, shipyard, marine, offshore, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Proficient with SharePoint and EDMS systems.
• Experience maintaining Master Document Registers, drawing registers, vendor registers and transmittals.
• Willingness to travel frequently to shipyards in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all project documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Master Document Register (MDR).
• Receive, register, distribute, and track project documents per procedures.
• Monitor and track vendor document deliverables and resubmissions.
• Maintain document revisions and ensure latest approved versions are accessible.
• Manage document transmittals between project team, vendors, shipyard and stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering, drawings, vendor document registers and other trackers.
• Ensure proper filing, indexing, naming and archiving of documents.
• Support Class submissions by coordinating submission status and close-out.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, shipyard and vendors to ensure timely submissions.
• Follow up on outstanding documents and overdue items.
• Provide regular document status reports and dashboards to PMT.
• Assist in preparing final handover dossiers and ensure completeness.
