SJ Group is seeking a Senior Executive Engineer to support coastal, marine and infrastructure project delivery in the Construction & Management Unit, Singapore. The role blends office-based technical work with on-site supervision and contract administration, requiring leadership of junior staff and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree with at least five years in related fields, and eligibility for IES RE registration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
Minimum five years of relevant experience in design, supervision or delivery.
Eligible for IES Resident Engineer registration and able to perform RE duties.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

Plan, coordinate and monitor assigned construction work scopes.
Support Project Manager in day-to-day management and delivery.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities and stakeholders.
Review contractors’ submissions, including method statements and shop drawings.
Monitor progress, quality and compliance with drawings, specs and contract.
Participate in site inspections, meetings and project coordination discussions.
Prepare reports, site records and project documentation.
Support contract administration matters including variations and EOT submissions.
Guide junior engineers and site staff on tasks and actions.
Use project information tools to support reporting and decision-making.
