Job summary

Systematica Investments seeks an experienced engineer to join the Singapore TechOps team, focusing on the production systems that support the automated trading platform. The role requires collaboration across global teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely incident handling.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Windows/Linux, scripting, automation, and database and deployment tools, enabling effective BAU support and release management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience in trading technology or similarly complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, support and monitoring of our proprietary trading platform throughout the trading day.
• Troubleshooting time sensitive production incidents affecting BAU with priority to trading.
• Provide key updates on release changes and latest incidents to the trading team.
• Collaboration with colleagues in Europe and America to facilitate a follow the sun system support.
• Work with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, developers and Operations to reduce production risk.
• Work with third party data vendors or executing/prime brokers to manage updates to respective parts of the system.
• User acceptance testing and release planning of changes for production.
• Document procedures and troubleshooting scenarios to aid future incidents.
• Scripting and automation of routine tasks.
