Job summary

Olam Cocoa Pte Ltd. in Singapore seeks a senior subject matter expert to lead production process areas, drive batch execution, process monitoring and optimization to meet quality and safety targets.

You will coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and other support functions to ensure changeovers, cleaning readiness and hygiene compliance, while guiding technicians through troubleshooting and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma from Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Holders of NITEC or Higher NITEC with least 7-10 years of relevant experience in a food production industry
• Good knowledge of GMP (good manufacturing practices) andsafetyrequirements
• Basic knowledge ofproduction flow
• Good troubleshootingskill
• Basic awareness of industrial standards
• Knowledge of process control and production process
• Basic knowledge of raw materials used inproduction

Responsibilities

• Act as senior SME for assigned production process areas, leading batch execution and optimization.

• Own daily process performance review and provide technical leadership to technicians.
• Provide senior technical support to ensure compliance with procedures, cGMP, safety, and QA.
• Lead review and control of production documentation and coach on data integrity.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to improve yield, utilization and reliability.

Job Description:

• Act as the senior subject matter expert for assigned production process areas, providing technical leadership in batch execution, process monitoring, troubleshooting, deviation prevention and optimization of plant performance to meet production, quality, safety and cGMP requirements.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Engineering and other support functions to ensure timely campaign changeover, cleaning/CIP readiness, hygiene compliance and process turnaround, while proactively resolving constraints that may impact batch start-up or production continuity.
• Own daily process performance review and provide technical leadership to technicians and staff through tiered accountability, process trending, equipment utilization review and structured troubleshooting to achieve production targets, improve process capability and drive recurring issue reduction.
• Provide senior technical support and process oversight to ensure production operations comply with approved procedures, cGMP, safety, occupational hygiene, environmental and quality requirements, while leading self-inspection readiness, audit preparation and safe release of plant or equipment for modification work.
• Lead review, preparation and control of production documentation to ensure accurate compliant and timely issuance of manufacturing records, while coaching technicians on documentation discipline, data integrity and Right First-Time batch record completion.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives across plant operations by identifying opportunities to improve process capability, yield, equipment utilization, cost efficiency and production reliability, while driving structured problem solving, project execution and follow-through of improvement actions.
