Job summary

OLAM COCOA PTE. LTD. is seeking aSenior Subject Matter Expert for production process areas to lead batch execution, monitoring, and optimization in a cGMP environment.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure changeovers, CIP readiness, hygiene compliance, and smooth production turnover, while driving continuous improvements in process capability and yield.

Qualifications

• Diploma from Polytechnic or equivalent is required.
• NITEC or Higher NITEC with 7–10 years in a food production environment.
• GMP knowledge and safety awareness are essential.
• Familiarity with SAP system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior SME for production process areas, leading batch execution and process optimization.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and other support functions for changeovers, cleaning/CIP readiness and hygiene compliance.
• Review daily process performance and mentor technicians through troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, hygiene and quality requirements; support audit readiness and safe releases.
• Lead and review production documentation to ensure compliant, timely manufacturing records and data integrity.
• Drive process improvement projects to enhance capability, yield, equipment utilization and reliability.

Job Description:

• Act as the senior subject matter expert for assigned production process areas, providing technical leadership in batch execution, process monitoring, troubleshooting, deviation prevention and optimization of plant performance to meet production, quality, safety and cGMP requirements.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Engineering and other support functions to ensure timely campaign changeover, cleaning/CIP readiness, hygiene compliance and process turnaround, while proactively resolving constraints that may impact batch start-up or production continuity.
• Own daily process performance review and provide technical leadership to technicians and staff through tiered accountability, process trending, equipment utilization review and structured troubleshooting to achieve production targets, improve process capability and drive recurring issue reduction.
• Provide senior technical support and process oversight to ensure production operations comply with approved procedures, cGMP, safety, occupational hygiene, environmental and quality requirements, while leading self-inspection readiness, audit preparation and safe release of plant or equipment for modification work.
• Lead review, preparation and control of production documentation to ensure accurate compliant and timely issuance of manufacturing records, while coaching technicians on documentation discipline, data integrity and Right First-Time batch record completion.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives across plant operations by identifying opportunities to improve process capability, yield, equipment utilization, cost efficiency and production reliability, while driving structured problem solving, project execution and follow-through of improvement actions.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma from Polytechnic or equivalent
• Holders of NITEC or Higher NITEC with least 7-10 years of relevant experience in a food production industry
• Good knowledge of GMP (good manufacturing practices) andsafetyrequirements
