Job summary

Greif, a global leader in packaging solutions, is seeking a Senior Production Planner Lead to drive production planning and continuous improvement across the plant. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, cost-efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, with experience in process improvement and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in a senior planner or team lead role is preferred.
• Experience in process improvement or operational excellence initiatives is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production planning and scheduling activities across multiple products or lines.
• Prioritize production to meet customer demand, delivery targets, and operational needs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material planning to support production requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Lead and support the production planning team.
• Drive OEE improvement projects and identify opportunities to improve operational process flows.
• Work closely with Production, Sales, QA, Maintenance, Logistics, and Procurement.
• Prepare and review planning, performance, and status reports.
• Support continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
