Job summary

Recruit Expert in Singapore seeks a Production Planner to align manufacturing output with demand and targets, developing scheduling approaches and monthly production/WIP plans. You will assess capacity through time studies and flow analyses, and coordinate inter-site deliveries.

Degree in Engineering or related discipline required with 2+ years of manufacturing logistics, planning and material-flow experience; strong Excel/VBA, C++, and leadership abilities are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish monthly production and WIP plans to maintain appropriate inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
• Assess equipment and process capacity through time studies, material-flow analysis and evaluation of product/process characteristics.
• Identify opportunities to improve production flow, capacity utilisation, yield and cycle-time performance.
• Coordinate production plans for ingot growth and inter-site deliveries, adjusting schedules based on product mix, capacity and changing customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing logistics, production planning and material-flow processes.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product costing and capacity planning.
• Strong PC skills – Microsoft Excel and VBA, with knowledge of C++ and the ability to lead or coordinate teams.

Salary: $3,800 to $5,000
