Job summary

Terasaki Electric Co. (F.E.) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee day-to-day production operations, plan and schedule work, and coordinate quality assurance across teams to ensure on-time delivery of switchboards and related products.

You will monitor progress, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement, with emphasis on IPQC and adherence to drawings and specifications. A hands-on leadership role with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a technical discipline is required.
• For Senior role, 3–5 years of relevant experience in planning or manufacturing.
• Experience in switchboard or electrical panel manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, safety and QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in day-to-day operations and execute the production plan.
• Plan and schedule production work per orders, drawings, material availability and delivery dates.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints, coordinate recovery actions, escalate risks.
• Coordinate manpower, machinery, materials and subcontracted work for smooth workflow.
• Plan material requirements and ensure timely arrival of materials for jobs.
• Ensure completion and readiness of switchboards before delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on IPQC, workmanship and assembly methods.
• Liaise with Sales, Design and QA on drawings and quality issues.
• Carry out production records and required documentation.
• Support safety, housekeeping and process improvements.
