Job summary

superform consulting pte. ltd. in Tuas invites applications for Senior Production Engineer / Assistant Production Manager to oversee daily production operations, plan and schedule activities, and ensure timely delivery with quality standards.

The role requires collaboration with Sales, Design, QA and production teams, with focus on safety, ISO standards, and continuous improvement. Training and leadership responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• For Senior Production Engineer appointment: at least 3 years of relevant experience in material planning, production planning or manufacturing operations.
• For Assistant Production Manager appointment: at least 5 years of relevant production experience, including demonstrated coordination or leadership responsibility.
• Experience in switchboard, electrical panel or related manufacturing operations is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, coordinate across departments, and communicate effectively with workers and subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of production planning, quality control, workplace safety, continuous improvement and QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in managing daily production operations and ensuring production plans are achieved.
• Plan and schedule production activities based on customer orders, drawings, material availability and delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress, manpower, materials, machinery and subcontractor activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, QA and production teams to resolve technical, quality and production issues.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Lead and follow up on rectification, rework and corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
• Provide guidance and technical support to supervisors, foremen and production workers.
• Support staff training, performance monitoring and team development.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping and risk control requirements.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, manpower utilization, quality and production costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and workflow efficiency.
• Manage production materials, stock and inventory in coordination with relevant departments.
• Liaise with subcontractors on pricing, capacity, schedule, quality and technical matters.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager or Management.
