Job summary

You will manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, negotiate pricing and contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and ethical sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement for semiconductors or complex manufacturing.
• Ability to build and manage supplier networks with local and global reach.

Job Scope

1. Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for semiconductor equipment, components, and spare parts.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with qualified suppliers (local and global).
• Perform cost analysis and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Ensure alignment with production timelines, service-level agreements, and customer needs.

2. Supplier Management

• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and contract manufacturers.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Mitigate risks in supply continuity by qualifying alternate sources and second vendors.

3. Cost & Contract Management

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Manage total cost of ownership (TCO) – including logistics, import duties, and lifecycle costs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, global trade regulations, and ethical sourcing.

5. Technology & Process Optimization

• Use SAP ERP systems to manage procurement workflows and reporting.
