Job summary

Milliken & Company in Singapore's Tembusu Plant seeks an experienced process engineer to provide on-site process expertise, scale up new products, and troubleshoot production issues in operations. You will drive site initiatives in continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety compliance under the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in local production in the chemical process industry or related area.
• Ability to apply engineering and scientific principles to resolve problems and improve processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and unit operations in chemical processing.
• Ability to read/modify PLC ladder logic is a plus; capable of working with batch systems.

Responsibilities

• Scale up new processes and equipment to achieve product performance.
• Work with business units, teams, operators and customers to commercialize new products.
• Design and review production equipment and controls, and implement new applications.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and participate in root cause analyses.
• Contribute to site HSE, process safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Develop/process SOPs and provide training for plant personnel.
