Job summary

United Microelectronics Corporation (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor and own inline SPC/defect/Equipment abnormality, ensuring timely disposition and line stability.

You will manage productivity projects for new processes, using process-characteristic analysis to improve condition and technology, and contribute to equipment/material/process evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic, electrical, chemical, materials, mechanical engineering or physics.
• 5–7 years of experience in semiconductor foundry dry etch module process.
• 22/28 nm and below advanced technology node experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and project management for process improvement or tech transfer.
• Ability to analyze complex process issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Experience with SPC, 8D reporting, DOE, FMEA and PMO is preferred.
• Willing to commit to shift work.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering , Electrical Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Physics

• Demonstrated experience of at least 5-7 years in semiconductor foundry dry etch module process

• 22/28 nanometer and below advance technology nodes experience is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.

• Proven leadership skills in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects related to process improvement or technology transfer

• Ability to analyze complex process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

• Experience skills including SPC, 8D reporting, DOE, FMEA and PMO is preferred

• Able to commit shift work
