Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer/Senior Engineer to join our wafer fabrication team in Singapore. You will transfer, develop and release advanced dry etch and ash processes, and drive DOE-based improvements to yield and cost.

You will work closely with Device, Quality and Production teams, training junior engineers, setting up control systems, and ensuring reliable process performance in a 6"/8" fab environment.

Qualifications

• Master/degree in Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics or Physics/Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years as Dry Etching or Ashing process engineer in 6" or 8" fab.
• For Dry etching, recipe development experience in LAM etcher is preferred.
• Diploma holders with >5 years' experience may be considered.
• Experience in SPC, DOE, FDC and yield analysis software.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills; strong teamwork. LEAN know-how is a plus.

• Troubleshoot out-of-control situations and yield excursions; decide lot disposition in out-of-spec situations.

• Train Shift Process Engineer/Assistant Engineer; create proper procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with Device, Quality, Equipment and production teams to meet module objectives.

As a Process Senior Engineer or Engineer in STMicroelectronics, you will be responsible to:

Job Description

• Transfer, develop and/or release new process. Characterize and improve existing/new processes through DOE and date driven analysis.
• Set up effective Equipment and Process Control system to maintain process performance and prevent/reduce any excursion
• Troubleshoot out-of-control situations and yield excursion. Decide on the lot disposition in an out-of-spec situation. Establish Control Action System, specifications for procedures to be followed
• Drive Continuous Improvement Project (CIP) to achieve best in class in yield, quality and cost
• Train Shift Process Engineer/Assistant Engineer. Create proper procedure and documentation of processes.
• Work closely with Device, Quality, Equipment and production colleague to ensure key module objectives are met.

Requirements

• Master / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Chemical Engineering or Degree in Physics/Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years working experience as Dry Etching or Ashing process engineer in 6” or 8” fab.
• For Dry etching, prefer personnel with recipe development experience in LAM etcher.
• Diploma holder with >5 years working experiences can be considered.
• Experience in SPC, DOE, FDC and yield analysis software.
• Attention to detail and have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Good teamwork.Enjoy training others.
