Job summary

CPG CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an accomplished Architect to lead design teams and guide innovative architectural solutions. You will manage client relations, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and ensure design intent is aligned with building codes and project goals.

The role involves prioritising feasibility studies, design development, and presentations while overseeing 3–4 live projects and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Architecture (BOA-accredited).
• Minimum 6 years of design management and planning experience.
• Registered Architect with valid practising licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead an architectural design or project team, providing technical leadership on design matters.
• Guide team members to develop optimised design solutions that meet client requirements.
• Participate in business development efforts, including meetings to target markets, clients, and project opportunities.
• Prepare and develop architectural designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and deliver design proposal presentations.
• Liaise with clients on project-related matters and requirements.
• Negotiate with contractors on design intent and construction progress.
• Administer construction contracts to ensure compliance with design intent and relevant building codes.
• Oversee on-site progress, ensuring works are carried out according to plans and resolving issues as they arise.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently (typically 3-4 projects).
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Potentially assume roles such as Lead Architect, Project Director (PD), or Project Lead (PL), including involvement in project P&L and resource planning

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Architecture from a university accredited by the Board of Architects (BOA).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in design management, design and planning. Registered Architect with a valid practising licence will be an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong design and project management capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Experience in contract administration and site coordination.
