Job summary

Huay Architects in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architect to assist the Senior Architect and contribute to conceptual designs, presentations, and design development documents. You will prepare plans, elevations, sections, and details using Revit and collaborate closely with the design team.

You will conduct materials research, engage in client meetings, prepare tender docs, participate in site visits, and liaise with authorities for statutory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit & BIM, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Willing to work on site independently and coordinate with other consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Architect in their duties.
• Collaborate with design team to develop conceptual designs, presentations, and design development documents.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using REVIT.

• Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project goals and requirements.
• Prepare and update tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Attend site visits and resolve site-related architectural issues.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, technologies, and architectural best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and support the pursuit of architectural licensure.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Prepare Feasibility Studies/ EOI/ Architectural Competitions as and when required
