Job summary

Park + Associates is seeking an intermediate Project Architect in Singapore with at least 3 years of local experience and familiarity with local building regulations and authority submissions.

You will work closely with the Principal Architect and Design Director, manage design development to construction administration, and coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Singapore experience.
• Familiarity with local submissions and regulations.
• Strong communication, detail orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor design process from conception to construction administration to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with Principal Architect and Design Director through design development and implementation stages.
• Manage project communication and coordination with clients, consultants, authorities and stakeholders.
• Prepare submission drawings to authorities.
• Prepare and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Coordinate overall project from design to completion.

Park + Associates is looking for an intermediate Project Architect. An ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience in Singapore and familiarity with local building regulations and authority submissions. The candidate would be highly driven and dedicated with excellent communication skills and a great attention to detail. To be successful in the role, the candidate should possess a team-oriented personality and at the same time, be able to work independently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring design process from conception to construction administration to ensure consistency of design idea
• Working closely with Principal Architect and Design Director throughout design development and implementation stages
• Project management - communication and coordination with client, consultants, authorities and all other stakeholders
• Preparing submission drawings to authorities
• Preparing and producing construction documents and specifications
• In charge of the overall coordination of the project from design to completion

Requirements include:

• Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• A strong passion for architecture and design
• Well versed in submissions and compliances
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction details and materials
• Capacity to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
