Job summary

Keppel Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager for District Cooling Systems (DCS) and Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) operations.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to optimize DCS+RCM performance and coordinate with the Operations team. Responsibilities include planning preventive and corrective maintenance, managing contracts and budgets, reviewing reports, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.

Job description

• Manage maintenance and support operations of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) sites and other field works.
• Manage a team of plant engineers and technical specialists in analysing and optimising DCS and RCM operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with the Operations team to troubleshoot technical issues relating to DCS and RCM.
• Monitor equipment performance, recommend appropriate modifications and provide innovative ideas for improvement projects.
• Create and implement operations and maintenance procedures.
• Implement and execute the Permit to Work system, ensuring the Maintenance team carries out appropriate site assessments and performs correct isolation/de-isolation.
• Lead and supervise all maintenance processes, including contract management.
• Prepare and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for equipment, ensuring work methods comply with established standards and procedures.
• Plan, implement and monitor service and maintenance programmes for DCS plant facilities.
• Plan and manage repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Review and improve maintenance programmes.
• Review contractors’ maintenance reports and plan necessary maintenance activities.
• Track expenses and oversee the maintenance budget.
• Perform spares analysis to ensure availability of critical spares.
• Submit maintenance performance reports.
• Maintain all maintenance documentation.
• Support all internal and external audits.
• Support all statutory information and data submissions.
• Ensure operations and maintenance activities comply with all EHS rules and regulations.
• Improve the company’s health, safety and environmental practices by taking responsible steps to protect the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues and other members of the community.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Good understanding of the technical features of ACMV and District Cooling Systems.
• Practical experience in Energy Management Systems (EMS), with familiarity in local and remote control and monitoring systems, as well as instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of facilities, machines and equipment.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good awareness of Environment, Health and Safety, with a strong safety mindset.
