Job summary

Keppel (Infrastructure Division) is seeking personnel to maintain District Cooling System plants and Retail Cooling Monitoring, while supporting maintenance programs and contractor supervision. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures, and on improving plant performance through routine inspections and calibrations.

The engineer will oversee work orders, coordinate with contractors, and assist in analysis and improvement projects to optimize facility operations

Qualifications

• Maintain records for tracking and audit purposes.
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
• Administer Permit To Work system.
• Uphold a safe operating environment and comply with company policies, procedures and government legislation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) and other field works.
• Implement and monitor service and maintenance programme.

• Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.

• Close work orders / service requests after completion of work.
• Ensure work method of maintenance activities comply with established standards and procedures.
• Assist Engineer to analyze and implement facility enhancement and improvement works.

• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
• Administer Permit To Work system
• Uphold a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with company's policies & procedures and government legislation. Understand safety requirements for Machine Guarding, LOTO, Permit to Work, Work at Height, Hot work, hazardous area classification and etc.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
