Job summary

Certis in Singapore seeks a capable engineer to lead and manage security system projects including CCTV, access control, and audio/video intercom installations. You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site coordination with key stakeholders to meet customer needs within time and budget.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics or IT/CS with hands-on project experience, strong communication, and proficient MS Office and IP networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or IT/Computer Science with at least 2 years of working experience.
• Excellent project and people management skills.
• Hands-on project execution and management experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good working knowledge on IP data networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned security projects (CCTV, access control, intruder systems, etc.).
• Plan installation, testing and commissioning per customer requirements within budget and schedule.
• Attend site meetings to monitor project status.
• Coordinate with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors and Designers for feedback and compliance.
• Procure materials and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Provide training to customers on installed systems.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with drawings and instructions.
• Update shop drawings and single-line diagrams before handover to Maintenance.
• Respond to customer feedback/complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Provide progress updates and report on technical issues.
