Job summary

VikConnect Pte Ltd seeks a skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to design integrated physical security solutions and lead technical engagements with clients in Singapore.

You will develop network architectures for CCTV, ACS, and intrusion systems, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and drive successful tender submissions through detailed BOMs and proposals. Collaboration with vendors and teams will be essential to deliver seamless deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or solution architecture within physical security (ELV) or IT networks.
• Proficiency with electronic security platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, Hikvision, Dahua, Gallagher, or similar.
• Strong IT infrastructure and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, server virtualization, and database management.
• Exceptional client-facing communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated physical security solutions including IP Video Surveillance (CCTV), Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection, and Intercom systems to meet client needs.
• Develop network architectures for IoT/edge device deployment, optimize bandwidth, and ensure reliable communication protocols.
• Ensure designs comply with cybersecurity standards, including firewall configurations, encryption, and endpoint security.
• Lead technical discussions, architectural whiteboarding, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Conduct site surveys to assess deployment conditions and gather client requirements.
• Prepare BOMs, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and cost estimations for tenders.
• Execute POCs and pilot projects to validate feasibility and performance.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party hardware/software vendors.
• Conduct detailed technical handovers to post-sales implementation teams for smooth rollout.
• Provide tier-3 escalation support during complex installations.
