Job summary

OCBC (Singapore) invites seasoned bankers to join the Premier Banking Offshore team. You will actively acquire affluent clients from North Asia, especially Japan, and deepen relationships to achieve profitability targets.

The role requires a university degree and CMFAS certifications, plus solid knowledge of banking and investment products. You will deliver superior service and drive cross-sell opportunities while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in banking/financial services, preferably with affluent clients.
• Experience covering North Asia/Japan markets.
• CMFAS certification (_RES1B, RES2B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI) required.
• Strong knowledge of banking and investment products (unit trusts, bancassurance, treasury).
• Strong communication skills and tele-consulting aptitude.
• Demonstrated initiative, drive, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Actively acquire and prospect Premier Banking Offshore customers from the North Asia market.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with the Bank in line with business goals.
• Contribute to profitability and growth targets of Premier Banking.
• Manage relationships with new and existing affluent customers via professional financial analysis.
• Upsell and cross-sell, provide market updates and trend analyses.
• Ensure superior customer service and overall customer experience.
