Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer to lead pre-sales for Singapore and APAC, delivering tailored IT solutions and architecture for enterprise customers. You will partner with Sales to uncover opportunities, craft technical proposals, and ensure architectural alignment with client needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in senior client-facing roles or technology integration.
• Deep architectural and technical expertise across applications, infrastructure, cyber, cloud, and data center.
• Strong SME in two or more critical infrastructure areas.
• Industry certifications (CCDE, CCIE, CISSP, etc.) and experience in enterprise IT leadership collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create and document a Client Architecture Plan for discovery and quarterly updates.
• Perform technical pre-sales engineering to tailor solutions for Singapore and APAC clients.
• Translate customer priorities into tailored IT solutions with the Sales team.
• Deliver pre-sales technology proposals, architectural diagrams, and service scopes.
• Lead requirements and scoping workshops with customers and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and services partners local to APAC.
• Advise Engineering on architecture and optimization services; mentor other consultants.
• Identify opportunities and collaborate with the team to propose engagements across the WWT portfolio.
