Jurong Port is seeking a dedicated professional for Storage & Yard Planning to support the Yard Planning Team on-site. The role involves planning transit storage, coordinating with berthing and GCO operations, and ensuring efficient space use within the port.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in a relevant field and 3–5 years in shipping/logistics, with strong IT skills and good planning, coordination, and communication abilities.

Competenze

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of shipping/logistics/maritime experience.
• Strong IT knowledge and familiarity with operational/admin systems.
• Good planning, coordination and problem solving skills.
• Clear communication with operations teams and stakeholders.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence; travel within port areas may be required.

Mansioni

• Plan and allocate transit storage locations for arriving vessels.
• Check warehouses and yards to identify suitable storage areas.
• Coordinate with Berthing and GCO Operations to allocate storage near berths.
• Review daily cargo storage plan after vessel discharge is completed.
• Analyze and optimize cargo storage space usage.
• Plan, assign, and track areas for short-term leases.
• Close lease applications upon cargo delivery or shipment.
• Measure leased areas and prepare weekly/monthly rental charges.
• Draft SOPs, train shift officers, and raise team competency; ensure SOP adherence.
• Address manpower or disciplinary issues with the Manager.
• Validate and raise manual bills for unauthorized overnight parking of chassis.
• Investigate port-user appeals and provide recommendations to the Manager.
• Review space requests for stuffing/unstuffing and close in JP-Online.
• Perform EHR administrative duties and support Yard Planning Team.
• Prepare manpower rosters and arrange overtime with Manager’s approval.
• Coordinate with Digitalization team on SMART system issues and perform UAT.
