Job summary

Jurong Port Pte Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to support the Yard Planning Team with storage and berth-related operations, ensuring efficient cargo handling and accurate daily planning.

You will coordinate with Berthing, GCO Operations, and other stakeholders to optimize yard utilization, draft SOPs, train shift officers, and manage administrative tasks including system-related testing when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, maritime or logistics.
• Strong IT knowledge and ability to work with systems.
• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with operations teams and stakeholders.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence; travel within port areas may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate transit storage locations for arriving vessels.
• Check warehouses and open yards for suitable storage.
• Coordinate with Berthing and GCO Operations to assign storage near berths (within 400m).
• Review daily cargo storage plan after vessel discharge.
• Analyse storage space usage to improve efficiency.
