Job summary

Jurong Port Pte Ltd is seeking a Manager in Strategic Port Planning to evaluate port development initiatives, develop conceptual plans, and coordinate with operations, engineering, commercial teams and regulators.

You will lead feasibility studies, capacity assessments, and implementation planning for berths, yard optimization, and new projects, while applying data analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years (Manager) in port operations, terminal planning, logistics, or related field.
• Exposure to data analytics, simulation, or operational optimisation tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Strategic Port Planning in evaluating port development initiatives (e.g. new berths, relocation, expansion projects).
• Develop project scope, timelines, and implementation plans.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure execution alignment.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment with overall port development strategy.
• Lead and manage projects including port developments, infrastructure upgrades, and shared services initiatives.
