Job summary

The Public Service Division is seeking a Business Analyst to help shape the Business Grants Portal (BGP) across government agencies. You will engage grant teams to map processes, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with product and tech teams to implement improvements that enhance onboarding and the user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, IT, CS, IS, engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product implementation, project management or related roles.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specs, user stories, flows and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, business process mapping, system testing and UAT.
• Experience in system implementation, configuration or enhancement of digital platforms and workflows.
• Familiarity with data mapping, validation, reconciliation or system migration is a plus.
• Experience in grant administration, government systems or digital service platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage users and grant agencies to understand grant administration processes and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, processes and acceptance criteria.
• Support enhancements to forms, workflows, approvals and platform functionalities; coordinate UAT and issue resolution.
• Assist with data mapping, data validation and migration activities; support cutover planning and post‑migration fixes.
