Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned software architect to lead the development and modernization of native application platforms, spanning mobile, web, and backend services. You will mentor engineers, guide architecture, and ensure robust, secure systems.

You will drive AI initiatives, oversee CI/CD, and collaborate with Product Owners on feasibility and effort estimates, while delivering production-grade outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack and mobile development, APIs, databases, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and CI/CD.
• Proven experience delivering and supporting production-grade applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in AI development, application security, and digital transformation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of key native application platforms.
• Provide technical leadership in software architecture, solution design, coding, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across mobile, web, backend APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive application modernisation, AI initiatives, and AI development lifecycle implementation.
• Ensure code quality, application security, performance, and maintainability.
• Manage security remediation, CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and release practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on technical feasibility and effort estimation.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
