Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 8–10+ years in software development with a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer role.
• Hands-on in full-stack development, mobile architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and CI/CD.
• Proven track record of leading production-grade applications.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills; able to mentor teams.
• Experience with AI initiatives and application security is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and ongoing enhancements for a key native build platform.
• Provide technical directions; review solutions and architecture; code when necessary.
• Troubleshoot across backend, mobile, web, databases, and infrastructure integrations.
• Support modernization of product architecture and infrastructure with AI initiatives.
• Experience with AI development frameworks is advantageous.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, security; improve reliability and performance; emphasize AI lifecycle.
• Support security remediation including SAST, SCA, DAST and pen-testing findings.
• Enforce branching, code merging and release practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on technical impact and effort.
• Mentor developers and raise engineering capability.

Job description

This position is a technical lead for one of key native build platform, responsible for software build quality, application stability, solution design, technical decision-making and development process discipline across backend, mobile and web teams. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The successful candidate must be able to design robust technical solutions, review and write code, troubleshoot complex production issues, establish strong development processes, and guide developers through implementation and delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the build and on-going enhancements for one of key native build platforms.
• Provide technical directions to developers and provide/review solutions and architecture for a quality and robust platform. Coding is required whenever necessary.
• Perform technical troubleshooting across backend APIs, mobile applications, web applications, databases and infrastructure integrations.
• Support the ongoing modernization of product architecture and infrastructure, with ongoing AI initiatives.
• Experience with AI development framework would be advantage.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability and security standards. Identify opportunities to improve application reliability and performance. One key focus will be the implementation of AI development lifecycle.
• Support security remediation including SAST, SCA, DAST and penetration-testing findings.
• Ensure appropriate branching, code-merging and release practices are followed.
• Work closely with Product Owners to assess technical impact and effort for enhancement requests.
• Mentor developers and improve the overall engineering capability of the team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-10+ years of software development experience, including experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development, mobile application architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and CI/CD practices.
• Proven experience leading the development, enhancement, and support of production-grade applications.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Experience in AI initiatives, application security practices, and digital transformation projects will be advantageous.
