Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a senior software engineer/tech lead to drive the build and enhancements of a native platform. You will guide architecture, review solutions, and contribute coding efforts as needed.

In this role you will tackle API, mobile, web, and database challenges, supporting AI-driven modernization while upholding security and reliability standards. Mentoring the team is a key aspect of the position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of software development experience with leadership or senior engineer/tech lead.
• Hands-on experience in full-stack development, mobile app architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and ongoing enhancements for a key native build platform.
• Provide technical direction, review architecture and contribute code when needed.
• Troubleshoot backend APIs, mobile apps, web apps, databases and integrations.
• Support modernization of product architecture and AI initiatives.
• Ensure code quality, security and reliability; focus on AI development lifecycle.
• Mentor developers and improve engineering capability of the team.
