Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Performance Testing Lead to drive end-to-end testing of enterprise applications and platforms.

You will define strategies, develop workload models, build and maintain test scripts (LoadRunner, JMeter), conduct load and stress tests, analyze results, and collaborate with development, infra, DB, and operations teams to ensure performance is integrated into delivery and releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of software testing experience, incl. at least 5 years in performance testing leadership.
• Proven experience in designing and executing performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests.
• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL/database performance analysis skills.
• Experience identifying bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, network and database.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance testing activities for software applications and systems.
• Define and implement performance test strategies, test plans, workload models, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent.
• Conduct performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, database, network, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using performance monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Ensure performance testing activities are integrated into project delivery and release cycles.
• Prepare and present performance test reports, findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Establish performance testing standards, best practices, and governance within the team.
