Job summary

tescom (singapore) software systems testing pte ltd. is seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead to oversee all performance testing across projects, defining strategies, planning tests, and ensuring applications meet performance, scalability, reliability and availability targets.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on testing with leadership, working with LoadRunner or JMeter, SQL and cloud architectures, and coordinating with development, infrastructure and operations teams, including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
10+ years in software testing with 5+ years leading performance testing.
Experience designing and executing performance, load, stress tests.
Hands-on with LoadRunner or JMeter.
Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end performance testing activities for applications and systems.
Define and implement performance test strategies, plans, workloads, and scenarios.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts (LoadRunner/JMeter).
Conduct performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.
Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning optimizations.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, network and operations teams.
Monitor performance using monitoring tools and dashboards; report findings to stakeholders.
Ensure testing is integrated into delivery and release cycles.
Prepare performance test reports, risk assessments and recommendations.
Establish standards and governance for performance testing; mentor team members.
