Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a diligent Software Tester to join project teams.

You will perform manual and regression testing for web-based and integrated systems, develop test plans, and ensure traceability to requirements. Candidates should have an IT-related degree and 1–2 years of QA experience; familiarity with STLC, API testing, and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail, and Confluence is expected.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
1–2 years of relevant software testing or QA experience; internships or project work welcome.
Experience in manual, functional, regression, integration testing, and SIT/UAT support.
Strong knowledge of STLC and ability to write detailed, structured test cases.
Familiarity with API testing, RESTful APIs, Postman, JSON validation.
Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail, Confluence.
Exposure to automation testing (Playwright) and CI/CD is a plus.
Experience on enterprise/government/large-scale projects with stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and in a team, under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, integration testing and UAT support for web-based systems.
Execute manual test cases based on requirements; validate workflows and business processes.
Verify defect fixes and conduct re-testing activities.
Develop, review, and maintain test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
Ensure complete, audit-ready documentation and test evidence.
Log, track, and manage defects using project tools.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and prioritize defects.
Support automation testing when applicable; exposure to Playwright is a plus.
Perform basic API testing using Postman or REST tools and validate JSON data.
Coordinate with PMs, developers, and business users during testing.
Support SIT, UAT, deployment verification, and production readiness.
Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
