Job summary

Transmedic Group in Singapore seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to partner with HR, Finance and business stakeholders to support payroll budgeting, workforce cost forecasting, and manpower planning. You will manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure statutory compliance.

You will provide payroll analytics and insights, prepare reports, and support audits and regional projects while maintaining data confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Administrative or similar.
  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably regional or multi-country environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations, statutory requirements and employment legislation.
  • Experience in payroll budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning and cost analysis advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Able to handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process end-to-end payroll operations accurately and timely for assigned entities.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with applicable employment legislation, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit payroll-related filings, including annual tax reporting and tax clearance applications.
  • Maintain and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee records.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports, analytics, and management information to support business decision-making.
  • Support annual budgeting, workforce cost planning, and forecasting activities by providing payroll and headcount projections and analysing variances.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to monitor actual payroll costs against budget and provide forecast updates.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing payroll documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Participate in regional payroll projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Answer queries relating to payroll matters and ensure HR policies comply with local legislation.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, salary changes, etc.

Job description

The Senior Payroll Specialist will partner closely with HR, Finance and business stakeholders to support payroll budgeting, workforce cost forecasting, and manpower planning activities. Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and process end-to-end payroll operations accurately and timely for assigned entities.

Key Requirements


  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Administrative or similar

  • At least 3 – 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a regional or multi-country environment.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations, statutory requirements and employment legislation.

  • Experience in payroll budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and personnel cost analysis will be advantageous.

  • Knowledge in Info-tech HR software is an advantage

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Meticulous and detailed-orientated

  • Able to work with sensitive payroll information

  • Self-started and able to multitask

  • Proactive and Resourceful
