Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in digital payments.
• Strong technical chops in system architecture and solutioning.
• Knowledge of schemes, providers, and interchanges.
• Adept at navigating through complexity and large-scale integration work.
• Exceptional stakeholder management bridging tech and business goals.
• Experience in government or highly regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Payment Backbone: Drive the technical direction for how payments are captured, authorised, cleared, and settled.
• Technical Solutioning: Define how systems connect and talk to one another, design interface control documents.
• Bridge Rails & Partners: Collaborate with payment agents and processors to integrate payment rails.
• Settlement & Reconciliation: Design flows to settle and reconcile across providers, acquirers, and banks.
• Ensure Security, Compliance, Reliability: Audit payment-grade controls and adhere to standards like PCI DSS, MAS TRM, IM8, and OWASP ASVS.
• Champion Cross-Team Alignment: Act as a conduit between vendors, engineers, and leadership.
