Job summary

National Youth Council Singapore invites an experienced leader to helm a national youth transitions initiative, collaborating with government, corporates, nonprofits, and philanthropy to create wide-ranging impact in Singapore.

You will design and implement programmes, build partnerships, govern grants, and mentor teams, supported by data-driven processes and emerging AI tools to sharpen decision-making and outcomes for youths.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in youth development, social services, education, or related field.
• Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and multi-sector partnerships.
• Ability to engage corporates and youths navigating uncertain futures.
• Strong systems thinking and clear, conviction-filled communication.
• Interest in how data and AI tools can sharpen team workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of youth transition programmes drawing on data and best practices.
• Develop approaches to equip youths with skills, networks, and opportunities to thrive.
• Cultivate strategic relationships across government, education, corporates, and community partners.
• Identify gaps and drive cross-sector collaborations to provide integrated youth support.
• Lead mentoring initiatives and plan events to grow the sector and mentors.
• Evaluate funding applications and ensure resources align with objectives.
• Improve team processes and leverage data/AI to support decision-making.
