Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to lead migration, administration and modernization of enterprise platforms, including moving databases to GCC on AWS or Azure. You will manage the full lifecycle of Oracle databases (19c), implement HA/DR, perform patching and performance tuning, and collaborate with cloud, DevOps and application teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Oracle Database design, implementation and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c in enterprise environments.
• Experience migrating on-prem to GCC on AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Oracle HA, DR and migration technologies (GoldenGate, Data Guard, RMAN, ZDM).
• Familiarity with Oracle AI Database technologies (AI DB 26ai, AI features).
• Scripting in Shell or Python to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of Oracle environments to GCC on AWS/Azure with minimal business disruption.
• Design, implement and maintain replication between on-premises and cloud.
• Plan and execute Oracle installations, config, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and preventive maintenance.
• Establish backup, HA and DR solutions and ensure security alignment.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, infrastructure and application teams.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis and document procedures.
