Job summary

LPS in Singapore is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to maintain high availability, perform health checks, and ensure security compliance across PROD/DR/DEV/QA/UAT environments.

You will manage Oracle RAC clusters, RMAN backups, patches, migrations and tuning, while documenting policies and architecture. Strong English communication and vendor collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Oracle databases across PROD/DR/DEV/QA/UAT environments.
• Experience in high availability Oracle RAC environments (2/3/4 node clusters) and data guard tools.
• Strong troubleshooting for database integrity, performance, blocking, deadlocks, connectivity and security issues.
• Proven ability to monitor performance with Oracle utilities (AWR/ASH/ADDM) and custom scripts.
• Documentation skills for processes, runbooks and topology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and reliability of databases.
• Perform daily Health Check, maintenance and security self-assessment.
• Perform database creation, configuration and migration, apply patches and upgrades.
• Database capacity planning and resource management.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and standards; conduct account reviews.
• Document database policies, architecture and design artefacts.
• Provide technical expertise and solutions based on user requirements for database projects.
