Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia, located in Singapore, seeks a TA Engineer/DBA to design, administer, and operate enterprise databases and applications ensuring reliability, availability, and performance. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle 19c database administration.
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux).
• Understanding of enterprise 3-tier application architecture.
• Experience supporting high availability and fault-tolerant systems.
• Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple application platforms, ensuring stable operations, patching, and issue resolution.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical input on integration points such as web services, messaging queues, SFTP, and databases.
• Implement and maintain operational processes including OS patching, application patching, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and fault-tolerant configurations.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and service disruption.
• Administer and maintain Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity.
• Support security compliance by implementing system hardening and vulnerability remediation practices.
• Provide operational support when required, including responding to incidents outside business hours.
