Job summary

iKas International (Asia) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Lead / Principal Database Migration Architect to define the end-to-end migration strategy for Oracle environments within a large-scale transformation.

You will ensure data integrity, high availability, and minimal business disruption while building a scalable foundation for future platforms, and you will lead migration planning for Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise database architecture, database modernisation, or large-scale data migration.
• Deep expertise with Oracle Database, including Oracle RAC in production environments is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, SQL optimisation, and database performance tuning.
• Experience migrating large-scale Oracle transactional databases to modern database platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT, data validation, reconciliation, and Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, or similar cloud database platforms is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
