Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore seeks an experienced On-site Project Leader to plan, execute and complete assigned projects. You will coordinate with customers and subcontractors, manage scope, budget and schedule, and ensure QA/QC compliance.

We value 8+ years in BMS, strong Excel/Word/Project skills, and a track record supervising teams. This role requires coordinating with Sales for tenders and supervising subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience in BMS systems.
• Excel, Word and Project are essential.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Need interaction with clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Willingness to work odd hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, budget and schedule for projects.
• Device project implementation methodology.
• Plan and oversee work schedule for multiple small to medium projects with supervisor coordination.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend resolutions.
• Establish effective communication with customers.
• Track and update progress, task and project health to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance to codes, QA/QC policies and specs.
• Perform regular quality audits for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Identify and secure variation orders.
• Cost control and delivery of financial commitments per CIS.
• Manage reports and project documents.
• Work with Sales team for tender bidding.
• Supervise sub-contractors' work on site.
• Schedule purchases and deliveries of all materials.
• Assign tasks to and supervise Assistant Project Engineer/Technician.
• System applications, drafting, database generation and commissioning.
• Follow up on payments from customers and verify payments to suppliers.
• Train customers and provide first year maintenance warranty visits.
• Handover project to customer and service team.
