Job summary

Capgemini Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering team.

You will design, build, and modernise mission-critical applications that support our global card personalization and digital issuance platforms. As part of our cloud transformation journey, you will evolve legacy systems into modern cloud-native services while contributing to scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Solid experience with Entity Framework and SQL databases.
• Experience designing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, patterns and clean coding.
• Experience building microservices-based apps and containers.
• Hands-on React and TypeScript experience.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Familiarity with Docker and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core, and related technologies.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices-based solutions.
• Develop frontend applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Participate in system design discussions and code reviews for security and performance.
• Support cloud-native architecture migrations and containerized deployments with Docker.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and operational efficiency.
• Ensure software quality with unit/integration tests and documentation.
