Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Senior Developer, Full Stack for the Motoring Digital Transformation initiative in Singapore. You will design and deliver full-stack features, from UI components to robust backend services, with a focus on real-time billing, dashboards, and intuitive user flows.

You will work across the stack in a collaborative, startup-like team, contributing to cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building full stack web applications.
• You must be highly familiar with frontend and backend languages, including JavaScript, Python, HTML and associated UI libraries.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks (Angular, Node.js) and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django) and building an event-driven, web-services based architecture.
• Experience configuring and deploying to cloud platforms; cloud certification is a plus.
• Strong Git workflows and automated testing (Selenium, Playwright) are essential.
• Experience with AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development while ensuring governance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; proactive and ownership-driven.
• Comfortable in a startup-like setting with adaptable roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Full Stack Features: design, build, and maintain both frontend and backend, ensuring code is well-structured and testable.
• Work Across the Stack: collaborate with fellow developers to ship high-quality features with clear modularity and documentation.
• Support Cloud Deployments: configure development environments, CI/CD pipelines, and staging cloud infra.
• Test, Validate, and Refine: write unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews, debug across environments.
• Co-Creating Requirements: collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to refine designs and iterate quickly.
