Job summary

certis integrated services in Singapore seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications that support learning, mentoring, and community initiatives. You will manage the full SDLC, deliver scalable digital solutions, and collaborate with product and design teams.

The role requires strong API and database skills, cloud familiarity, DevOps practices, and a proactive approach to reliability and performance in production systems.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to full-stack application development.
• Proficient in modern programming technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting product learning, mentoring, capability development, and community initiatives.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, including solution design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancements.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs, system integrations, and shared services that connect with enterprise platforms and government-wide services.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.
• Ensure applications meet standards for security, reliability, performance, accessibility, and operational resilience.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system architecture records, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and engineering practices to enhance developer productivity and application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentoring activities to foster engineering excellence within the team.
