Job summary

Mintgroom in Singapore is expanding its automotive division into motor accident claims and insurance repair. We seek an experienced Senior Motor Accident Claims Executive who can manage claims from start to completion and help grow the accident claims department.

You will handle claims end-to-end, advise customers on reporting and procedures, prepare documents and repair quotations, liaise with insurers and surveyors, and drive process improvements with new SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of motor accident claims experience in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore motor accident insurance claim process.
• Experience with Own Damage and Third-Party claims.
• Ability to prepare accident repair quotations and supporting documentation.

Job description

We are expanding our automotive spray painting and repair division into the motor accident claims and insurance repair business.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Motor Accident Claims Executive who is familiar with the Singapore motor accident insurance claims industry and is able to independently manage accident claims from start to completion.

The successful candidate will also play an important role in helping the company establish and grow our accident claims department.

Responsibilities

• Handle motor accident insurance claims from start to completion
• Advise customers on accident reporting and insurance claim procedures
• Prepare and submit all necessary claim documents
• Prepare accident repair quotations and estimates
• Liaise with insurance companies, surveyors, loss adjusters, lawyers and other relevant parties
• Arrange vehicle inspections and accident surveys
• Follow up on claim approvals and repair authorisations
• Coordinate accident repairs with our workshop, panel beating and spray painting teams
• Update customers on claim and repair progress
• Handle supplementary repair claims where additional damage is discovered
• Follow up on outstanding claims and payments
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all accident cases
• Assist with disputes and claim-related correspondence
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers, surveyors and industry partners
• Develop and improve internal SOPs and workflows for the Accident Claims Department
• Support management in growing the accident claims and insurance repair business

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore motor accident claims preferred
• Previous experience with a motor accident repair workshop, insurer, claims department, surveyor or related automotive business
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore motor accident insurance claim process
• Familiar with Own Damage claims, Third-Party claims, accident reporting and vehicle surveysAble to prepare accident repair quotations and supporting documentation
• Good understanding of panel beating, accident repair and spray painting will be an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Able to liaise professionally with customers, insurers, surveyors and lawyers
• Organised and able to manage multiple ongoing cases
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Existing relationships or contacts within the motor insurance and accident repair industry will be an advantage
