Just Recruit Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Motor Surveyor to join our Direct Unit in Singapore. You will conduct motor claim surveys at workshops, assess vehicle damage, review repair requirements and negotiate costs with claimants and repairers.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to workshops across Singapore, with emphasis on clear communication and negotiation skills and a valid vehicle for travel.

Basic Salary: Up to S$6,000/month
Transport Allowance: S$1,400/month

We are looking for an experienced Motor Surveyor to join our Direct Unit. Reporting to the Head of Unit, you will be responsible for conducting motor claim surveys at various workshops, assessing vehicle damage, reviewing repair requirements and negotiating repair costs with claimants and repairers.
This is a field-based role and requires regular travel to different workshops across Singapore.
Conduct motor claim surveys assigned by the company.
Inspect vehicles and assess the extent and consistency of damage relating to the claim.
Verify repair requirements and determine the appropriate scope of repairs.
Negotiate repair scope and costs with claimants and repairers within the assigned authority limits.
Prepare and submit clear interim and/or final survey reports with recommendations.
Identify and escape any abnormalities, discrepancies or unusual findings discovered during surveys.
Liaise closely with workshops, repairers and relevant internal stakeholders.
Undertake other assignments or projects assigned by the Head of Unit, Head of Section or Head of Department.
Prior working experience as a Motor Surveyor is required.
Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience in the motor / automotive industry or a similar surveying capacity.
GCE O-Level, NITEC, Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive / Motor Mechanics or a related discipline.
Good knowledge of vehicle damage assessment, repair methods and repair costing.
Comfortable using computers, mobile devices and relevant software for reporting and daily work.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel to different workshops across Singapore to conduct surveys and liaise on vehicle damage, repair scope and costs.
A Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) is not required at the point of application. Successful candidates may obtain the relevant certification after selection, where required.
