Job Summary

The Senior MSL/Medical Advisor will serve as the company’s subject matter expert on key indications including cardiometabolic, autoimmune and dermatology portfolio. He/She will develop and drive medical affairs strategy and activities in Singapore.

In order to be successful, the candidate shall deliver the integrated brand plan objectives in accordance with local regulations and business priorities at the highest quality and in a timely manner.

General Responsibilities
Medical Strategy
  • Will work closely with the Head of Medical Affairs in developing medical strategy and drive timely execution of key medical activities of the highest quality for relevant therapeutic areas
  • Conduct situational and gap analysis of therapeutic and diagnostic landscapes for assigned therapeutic areas and present this in a visually appealing and coherent manner to key stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional leads to support therapeutic area brand plans and ensure excellent and timely execution of key tactics
Scientific Communication & Insight Collection
  • Develop a scientific communication plan and drive meaningful communication with HCPs to support and deepen their understanding on clinical management landscape for relevant therapeutic areas
  • Develop and implement avenues to derive feedback from key experts (i.e. advisory boards, scientific consultations) and proper documentation and dissemination of these engagements
Managed Access Programmes
  • Responsible for managing named patient programmes/ compassionate use programmes as aligned with client requirements ensuring seamless transition to commercial supply
RWE and Evidence Generation
  • Responsible in managing investigator initiated studies, sponsor initiated studies as required
  • Responsible in supporting or leading evidence generation planning and activities as required.
Medical Education & Trainings
  • Provide platforms to educate HCPs on new/ emerging clinical data about the appropriate use of DKSH products
  • Responsible for execution of medical affairs activities and review of promotional material and package inserts
  • Keep abreast of latest medical / scientific update and conduct medical-scientific training to the sales force
  • Provide medical and scientific support through activities such as advisory board meetings, Continuing Medical Education, speaker development, Key Opinion Leader engagement, etc.
Medical Information, Safety Reporting & Compliance
  • Support medical information enquiry processing and safety reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and company policies and treatment guidelines
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Scientific expertise in the field of autoimmune, cardiometabolic, dermatology or similar specialist fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and conceptual capabilities
  • Confident and articulate individual with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and people & change leadership skills
Education
  • Physician (preferred - MBBS or MD), Scientist (PhD)
  • Experience in autoimmune, cardiometabolic and dermatology area or related field (preferred)
