Job summary

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in mechanical design
Experience in data center infrastructure is preferred
Experience with CAD tools and producing drawings/sketches
Ability to review vendor data and drawings for standards compliance

Responsibilities

Support Engineers and Engineering Manager with drawings and BOMs per customer requirements.
Model and draw layouts for mechanical, piping, and structural deliverables.
Check drawings for accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety.
Prepare bulk MTOs and detailed BOMs with minimal supervision.
Ensure drawings comply with engineering and QA/QC standards.
Prepare installation procedures for customer submission.
Supervise outsourcing of design work to 3rd party firms.
Review vendor data to ensure client specifications are met.
