Job summary

WANCO MANPOWER PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Structural Designer to support hyperscale modular data centre systems in Singapore West. This contract role spans 1 year with potential renewal or conversion, focusing on delivering detailed drawings, BOMs/MTOs, and robust interfaces with project teams.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in mechanical design for data centre infrastructure, proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks, and strong knowledge of piping and

Qualifications

• Mechanical design experience for data centre infrastructure
• Proficiency in 3D CAD/ BIM tools and drawing standards
• Ability to produce and check BOMs/MTOs and detailed fabrication drawings

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical, piping and structural drawings, including layouts and isometrics
• Independently prepare BOMs and MTOs based on project requirements
• Develop detailed fabrication and installation drawings including supports and HVAC ducting
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness and QA/QC compliance
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, vendors and design partners to resolve interfaces
• Review vendor drawings against project specs and standards
• Use models to investigate design, installation and service issues
• Prepare installation documentation and technical deliverables
• Coordinate outsourced design activities and implement lessons learned
