Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Structural Designer to join our client's engineering team, supporting large-scale modular facilities and industrial projects in Singapore. You will produce high-quality mechanical, piping, and structural design deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 7 years in mechanical and structural design, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical and structural design.
• Experience with piping systems, steel structures, and equipment layouts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical, piping, and structural drawings, layouts, and BOMs.
• Develop design deliverables including general arrangements, piping layouts, structural details, and equipment supports.
• Generate MTOs and detailed BOMs.
• Ensure drawings comply with engineering, QA/QC, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and clients on design deliverables.

The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality mechanical, piping, and structural design deliverables while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.

The Job

• Prepare and review mechanical, piping, and structural drawings, layouts, and BOMs.
• Develop design deliverables including general arrangements, piping layouts, structural details, and equipment supports.
• Generate MTOs and detailed BOMs.

The Talent

• Diploma, Technical Certification, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical and structural design.
• Experience with piping systems, steel structures, and equipment layouts.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software - AutoCAD and SolidWorks are a MUST
• Proficiency in Revit, and Navisworks will be a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
