Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Min 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in building services advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical services including HVAC, ventilation, fire protection, medical gas, compressed air, sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Present design concepts and reports to clients.
• Prepare M&E cost estimates based on approved design schemes.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate M&E services within the office and with stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and RFIs.
• Verify progress and manage variations for progress claims.
• Liaise with contractors, architects and authorities for compliance and timely delivery.
• Carry out site investigations and submit technical reports.
• Manage designers and oversee project management from pre-development to completion.
• Attend site/technical meetings to resolve issues and coordinate with authorities.
